A strange dream...

In the dream, I saw how my friend got enveloped by the waters around him when a fast going craft went past him. At first he was doing well to cope with the turbulence but he disappeared into the water not too long after...

The news of drowning soon reached the shore. Everyone was sad upon hearing his death. For a moment, I woke up to reality and goodness, it was only a dream.

I closed my eyes once again, the dream went on. The sudden death of a friend knocked many of us out... so sudden. This friend was a good diver and he definitely knew how to tackle such situation... a lot of commotions went on... the sadness from the people were filling up my soul and then my eyes opened for the second time.

Breathing heavily, I checked the time and closed my eyes once more. The dream went on...

In the dream, I was going for the wake but I found myself sleeping in bed. My mind struggled to wake up as I really need to go. Images of this friend and his family members started flashing in my mind. I need to get up and go... I need too....

I woke up again. This time my breathing was even heavier. My mind was so filled with the grief and the images from the dream that I was telling myself time to go to the wake upon waking up.

I finally got up and went to check my emails first and then my facebook as well. The image of my friend was on the screen showing him sharing a video online in FB...

"WTF? I thought he was dead. I was supposed to go to his wake soon..."

Thank goodness... it is really a dream... my friend is still alive, playing facebook.

A nice local 'snakehead' on a Yozuri LX Minnow which is also my first fish for 2010.

Firstly, I want to thank all my friends who had supported me very much when I began to run the beer garden business. Thank you very much for all the help and support, greatly appreciated.

In the midst of running the beer garden, I come across people from all walks of life....

AND PEOPLE FROM ALL KINDS OF ATTITUDE....

The below are TRUE and absolutely TRUE....

Would they steal your bottle opener?
Would they break all vending machine glass panel?
Would they throw rubbish into the counter when the counter is not opened? (Left over chicken rice in the counter....)
Would they climb over the counter and steal your stuffs when you go for a toilet break? (This woman climbed over the counter and took several things. I came back in time and she said that she has all the rights to take whatever she wanted when I was away. Nevermind, she was drunk and the male friend with her was so embarrassed by her and walked away dumb....)
Would kids climb onto the counter and run around?
Would they steal tibits from the counter?
Would they leave hooks in the counter when the counter is closed? (Several used hooks are found here and there. If not careful... OUCH!)
Would they fill up your table soccer with stones and rubbish? (Got lime, sweets, pebbles, sticks, leaves... whatever u can find....)
Would they try to touch the cash register? (YES!!!)
Would they burn your garden table? (This is the latest...... Plastics are flammable and if they catch fire... I hope the table will not grab the arsonist and burn together...)

All kinds of people... indeed. There are more vices but oh well.... this is part of the business.

What would really make me smile? The smiles of the satisfied customers with our services. This is service line. No matter how bad a customer can be... he/she is still a customer.

Oh well, unless it gets really overboard.

If you happen to be my customers and you are the bad ones... do try to remember that we have 4 security cameras and they are real!

I know some of the ass faces who did really nasty stuffs but I am keeping my silent now.

For repeat offenders, the records from the security camera will be handed over to the SPF for appropriate actions.

Oh, before I end... I want to thank all those really nice customers that I have experienced. There are still alot of nice people in the world to be happy about... live and let live...

He was having a good time getting both his hands wet again and blew dry again by this hand dryer. Hahaha!

He actually likes sushi with wasabi! He is truly asianic! Oh, he had lots of local threats too and ask him, he loves them! Minced pork noodles, fishball noodles etc.. Oh, not forgetting local hainanese chicken rice!

We are not alone. The Americans as well. How many Americans would believe that 911 is real and how many of them would believe what their government told them?

Do you know that Osama is not a militant but an AMERCIAN SPECIALIST trained for special infiltration? Who was his boss? Senior Bush...

Not only 911, the attack on Pearl Harbor as well.

Both incidents recorded huge casualties but what rank did they belong? Who was the lowest ranking officer that died in the attack? Where's the DO? What happened to them? MIA from duty? Same for 911...

The media did a great job in covering up lots of facts about whatever governments had done. I am not pointing my fingers at any.

With wars, the war factories will make heavenly amount of money from those war inflicted countries. Someone has to fight and someone must make that weapon so that someone makes that money. It is so simple. As such, this world or maybe that BIG BROTHER cannot let the world have peace. What the badge of peacing keeping for? You decide.

Biggest and the most numbers of war factories found only in one place. No need me to tell you.

Now back to Singapore. At least our government only loses money and not innocents lives out in the war fields. How many soldiers from Singapore had die in any war in the past 30yrs?

Singapore has to stay strong and high in this region, if not, who suffers? We will suffer.

Our government is not perfect, even if they are, the circumstances in the world make them not.

I am very glad that Singapore is changing rapidly with times and the introduction of casinos has no other reasons that is too difficult to understand. TO SURVIVE.

Nations around us are picking up and if PAP is complacent, what would happen? If Temasek Holdings loses the most important contract in all Singaporeans' lives and what would happen? Singapore will lose its flavor to be the world busiest port as a shorter route would have been dug and used in our times right now. Our government bought that contract and stopped the project. What for? So that many of us here may still buy a WRX and mod and drive for fun. So that Singaporeans could still enjoy the peace and prosperity that we enjoy now.

Who never made a mistake? At least our money is not lose due to heavy indulgence in luxuries by companies that we have heard about in news from that big brother's united nations. No blood lost in war too.

Although for GE, it does not matter who wins. What really matters is that who is that man leading us?

We could only pray that he is gifted and could carry on to ensure Singapore stays afloat in bad times. If not, our port will be useless. Our world business hub would be empty.

As long as shipping exists, Singapore government has to ensure that we are the port that traders will pass by Singapore to pass over to South China Sea.

A new route is drawn to cut this short this route and if this new route is implemented, we will be in deep shit. Who stopped it from happening? I dont have to tell you...

Do I still fish or do I not? I DID!

My rods and reels finally saw the light than the light in my boot...

All thanks to 'BATMAN' from Canada, Terry Mcginnis. (Oh, he is not batman as in batman but actually they share the same name.) We went fishing together for a good 2 weeks but results are poor...

Since he is from a cooler place, Terry has a GOOD TIME getting use to our local weather here in Singapore. Hardcore bashing to fish for peacock bass is OUT.

The easier reached bass' hideouts are all run.... but luckily, he did catch one but before we could get a camera on it, the fish got away. We ended up with a treble from the lure that he caught the fish with, hung loosely on his hand while we watched that fish slipped away.

At least he got that fish's slime on his hand to proof...

In fishing (I mean fishing in Singapore), it is alot easier if you are willing to pay and fish in a commercial pond. A LOT EASIER.

Although it is easier with money for commercial ponds, but there is a group of fishermen who prefers the 'Adrenaline Rush' instead. It is part of the game if you are fishing in the wild and in restricted water.

What do I mean by 'Adrenaline Rush'?

When I fish in 'Restricted Waters', I always have to keep my eyes open and also on the time ALL THE TIME. It is like 'fishing like a ninja'.

National Parks and PUB have a group of rangers to watch over such waters. They would come up to you if you are in the act. Some of them are nice but some of them aren't. Some listen to you and some don't. Some of them would threaten you and bully you! (I'm serious and if you are one of those NOT SO NICE rangers reading my blog, I still remember you and your face.) Hahaha... just joking. One of you is quite cute too! (Not sure if she is still in the gang or not.) I remember one guy used force on me and told me to sit down. Then said, "You are under arrest!" Hey you, you think I am stupid? Anyway, this idiot caused me some abrasion on my neck and arms. I caused him a twisted wrist when he tried to restrain me and forced me to the ground. He was yelling in pain when I turned his wrist around his back. It is good to be trained in the army by the government. In such situation, I do know a little in protecting myself. Luckily, ARMS are not allowed if not he would be probably smelling my nozzle and fearing a bullet flying thru' his water filled head. Hahaha. Just kidding about the ARMS part.

My friends and I got away most of the time. Chinese has a saying, "Go up the mountains too often, you will encounter the tiger."

Indeed, I got caught just not too long ago. I received a fine like what I told my new found Canadian friend, Terry. Singapore is a fine country.

After that, I think I have enough of all these shits. FISHING IN SINGAPORE IS LIKE COMMITTING A CRIME! YOU WILL GO TO COURT AND THEY WOULD EVEN OFFER YOU A STAY IN THE CELLS WITH YOU PAYING FOR IT TOO!!! DARN, THIS IS SERIOUS STUFFS!

I always imagine myself in the cells telling my cell mates what I did and ended myself in there.

Breaking-the-ice session in the cells somewhere...
Cell mate X, "I cheated government's money..."
Cell mates, "I am a government servant, caught moonlighting..."
Me, "I got caught fishing..."
Everyone, "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA WTFWTFWTFWTFWTF!!!"

So, not only me got enough of such shits. We gathered together and formed Gamefish & Aquatic Rehabilitation Society. As flyfishermen, we love the nature. We love the fish. Most of us have no barbs in their hooks. Even when we hooked the fish, we do care about letting it go and to live another day. Sometimes, the fish we caught has more than one hook in their mouths. We took time to remove the rest as well. Some pick up rubbish along the way. Some look at the insects in the water and observe what the fish feed on. Some tie flies beside the stream... I pray that the rangers will not come. Heehee...

We love the nature and we love the fish. We love the trees, flowers, grass etc... It is a beautiful place out there in the RESTRICTED AREA and the love we have for these areas doped us badly... always falling back in the same trap to go back to the nature for a reason, PASSION.

We want to share this PASSION with the rest. We want to teach the public about the beauties we have in Singapore. Fishing 20yrs ago is very different from fishing today. Some of the seniors still could not perceive and believe that fishermen could evolve to stage like us who cares about the fish, the water and the nature around them. Fishing is disgusting to them. Rubbish is fishermen, some said. For most of us, we only left a trial behind telling the rangers that someone fished there. We take pride about what we do and we do it. Not only doing it, we share.

We are not the ugly bunch of the people whom others identify all fishermen are. Flyfishermen are snobbish and HAO LIAN (proud in Hokkien). You do not need a expensive fly rod to catch a fish but you need the correct PASSION to catch that very fish that you have targeted.

You do not need a good rod to cast well. You do not need an expensive fly line to catch that fish. You do not need those expensive toys but you need PASSION.

Flyfishing is about presentation, the fly at the end of the line, stealth, etc and not about what brands of rods and reels you got in your bag.

You do not need expensive reels from Abel or rods from Sage to show off.

You only need the technology that they offer to better cast and better fish in demanding situation.

All the expensive toys' manufacturers build their products with passion for the water. Wrong people use them to show off. The right people use them for demanding situation.

I remember Henry Lau from Coho told me, "Abel is not a tool, it is an instrument."

Why build an instrument for fishing? PASSION.

This is a real incident that happened to me.

Day 1,

"Hello, could I get more ice?"

Looking at the fellow with a black little pail n hand I asked, "Did you buy any beer from me?"

"Ya. I bought beer from you just now. Don't you remember?" I do not have any black little pails at all. How could I possibly served him beer at all?

I relied, "Nope. I don't remember."

"Got lah. If not, how come I got this (pointing at the pail)?"

"Sir, we do not have such a pail in my counter at all. You must have bought beer from upstairs. You may ask them for more ice."

"Aiya... I lazy to walk lah... could you just give it to me for this once."

I gave him ice then but told him that ice are reserved for my customers only. He did not even thank me and walked away.

The next day,

This time, he came to me empty handed. He asked for a bucket of ice. A BUCKET OF ICE! I was running short of buckets to serve my beer and refused him politely. I also told him that you have to buy beer from me then you would get ice from me. Guess what? He refused to go and kept insisting me to give him ice. He even said that he would buy beer from me later.

TOO BAD. HE HAD LOTS OF BEER RIGHT ON THE OTHER SIDE OF OUR PREMISES. THE BEER COUNTER UPSTAIRS ARE STILL OPENED. THE SKY WAS STILL BRIGHT WHEN HE ASKED FOR ICE...

I got pretty busy at the counter at that time when this punk kept pestering for ice.

Finally he gave up and walked away but gave me those monkey face.

It was not the end of him yet. He came back later in the night. This time, he was already drunk. He brought a cup and asked for ice. I told him $0.30 for a cup of ice. Then he gave me those LJ face.

"Must I really buy beer from you to get ice?"
"Yes."
"Okay lah, I buy from you. Give me a Hoegaarden and 3 cups of ice."
"Total $8.90. (Hoegaarden, $8.00.)."
"And this one too." He past me the empty cup.

I changed him $0.80 because of the 4th cup. He gave me that LJ look again and looking intimidating this time.

This is not the end yet.

His friend came and asked for a cup of ice. I told him $0.30 but he told me he just bought beer. For goodness sake, I gave it to him and then I realized that they are a group! Just as this fellow sat down. That muthafcuker danced on the other side of the pond and made funny face at me.

How could pple get so fcuked up just for ice and becoz of their plain laziness? This muthafcuker is simply at his best, a fcuked and dancing monkey.

Sigh...

Is life just as meaningful as an empty shell?

35yrs have passed and I have walked on the surface of this planet named earth for so long.

I have experienced slightly more than what an average Singaporean would realised (if you never worked in foreign countries I mean), slightly...

I have not seen it all but I guess I have enough of this shit that I am going through daily. There are still so much more SHIT out there to be seen. Probably if you die, you have not seen all yet. NOT YET!

I have many friends but many are not friends, seriously. After all, trust no one in this world. Not a single soul...

What about my family if you ask me? They are probably the last few people in this world that you may see a glimpse of hope when you are at your lowest.

What is family? They are humans too. They have their own burdens and in today's world... too many and how could they even share yours. If you are in some shit, stay away from them to save them the trouble rather than go seek help and let them share your shit.

I can only think about two words that would describe the whole damn world which I live in.

"STRIFE" & "MONEY".

If I have some special eyes that I could see 'strife'... I would be choked to death!

If I have all the money I want, I would have 'strifed' myself till I have turned stone cold to what we call humanity.

You can say that I am COLD. Yes, I admit. Maybe not enough to describe what I am right now.

As each day goes by, I learned a lot of things along the way and I have matured much in my thinking as well. As the more I learned, the more I realized the world is FUCKED!

After so many years, I begin to realized that in the things that I believed most are actually BULLSHIT! BULLSHIT! 100%! The world has a lot of teachings and a lot are all BULLSHIT. If it centers around humanity, maybe there is a glimpse of hope in it. If it centers around some fairy tale character that could save your ass when end day is here, go download some porn and watch it out loud before you are choked to death by the air we breathe.

I am not saying that there is not someone divine out there but the 'stories' that we have in library are just too fairy tale... fashioned to times and fashioned to money gains.

Did Buddha give someone money too to see enlightenment?

Did anyone else divine give someone money to see the truth and the real truth?

A beautilful stream with beautiful fish... what fly to use?

The chirping of the alarm clock woke me up at 4.30am on Sunday's morning. My tired eyes fought against my eye lips to steal a glance at the time. Light flashed across my room and thundered roared from a distance. Raining. The room temperature was just right cool for a lazy Sunday's morning but I had to wake up.

Just before sunrise, my friends and I reached the stream. It was cloudy and the rain had stopped. With my rod and reel ready, I pondered about what to tie to the leader(I did not use a tippet, lazy me). The river was exciting. Minnows were running for their lives while their predators worked hard for breakfast. I chose a woolly bugger.

Gingerly, I moved in the swarm with both my feet in the water. I caught a pattern in the water. The woolly bugger swam across the target with short pauses. The pattern moved, made a dash for my fly but UTURNED. 3 tries, I switched to a black crazy charlie with tinsel finish. This crazy charlie made it into its mouth at least 8 times but somehow, no hook ups. I changed by angle of strike to the left and immediately the line was tight a tug of war started. A little fellow that fought hard. Shot it with my phone camera and released. During the battle, a pretty decent 3-4bls'er followed behind. It had to swim side ways when it hit the swallows with the hooked one. Upon releasing, a few more decent peacock basses swam across my sight and disappeared into the shadows of the stream.

My fly found its way thru the air and into the water once more towards the sightings. 3 short burst, the fly line found its way fast through the guides of the fly rod. Suddenly, I was totally awake. I knew that I had made the right decision to get out of my comfortable bed and braved the rain to the stream.

This fellow is fat. Thick on its back and fought really well. The Tiemco Euflex is just too weak to stop the fish. I had to fight the fish with the help of the fly line instead. Big splashes for good minutes. A warrior in the shadows of this stream.

The crazy charlie was found midway in the large mouth. My fist could actually entered the mouth while I tried to remove the fly quick. Billy helped me took a few photos and the fish swam away freely.

A good morning for me with dear friends. Breakfast was minced meat noodles, awesome. Sweet aroma from the freshly brewed coffee made the whole morning even better.

I am looking forward... to fight the Sleep God to fish again...

KUALA PILAH TOWN, West Malaysia

A decent 3-4hr drive, you should be able to reach Bukit Kuala Pilah in West Malaysia. Nothing spectacular or breathe taking moments from the surroundings but a decent comfortable getaway from Singapore, once more.

West Malaysia is full of 'bukit' which means 'hill'. Along the North South Highway, you will travel pass many hills.

I really enjoyed the ride up there when I had to up-the-hill and down-the-hill. Driving past several little towns, villages and biggers towns are some wonderful experience which you will not get in Singapore.

Vast, West Malaysia is seriously big when compared to Singapore. Along the way, you would get to have several encounters with cows, water buffalos, goats, sheeps, chickens, ducks and some other little critters.

The winding roads are so fun to drive with a 4WD. I had lots of fun this trip. Up hill down hill with so many corners. Blind spots are always around and safety is indeed a concern with them.

I found a nice place to stop by to take some photos. Even when getting out of the car, I had to be extra careful. Lots of 'land mines' aka cow dungs surrounded me. Along the way pass the villages, dungs are everywhere and they found their way on my car as well!

After I got back into Singapore, I sent it for wash and the washing crews took some good time to wash off the dungs.... I felt sorry for them.

The drive is really fun and the only setup back I had in this trip is the dungs. When I drove my car past the customs officers, their looks could tell that they were disgusted by the smell and the dungs on the car... hahaha. Oops, sorry.

5 FALLEN 6 SHOTS!

In 2008, I think my line was wet only twice. TWICE! I caught only 2 peacock basses on a spinning setup. Scored 2 for 1st trip in Lower Pierce Rsvr and 0 for the 2nd.

As a fly fisherman, I have left my babies(fly fishing equipment for more than 2yrs) collecting dust for years.

Out of the blue, I was invited by a group of friends to target the alluring Cichla Temensis in a certain water hole. I have seen such beauties landed by local anglers in local waters but never did I took effort to go hunt for them like the good old days.

Procrastination hit me hard. Staring at my equipment, I did not know what to take. The easy way out? Spinning setup (overkill) is already in my car's boot for months but seen no light for months too.

My feet paced the room for moments and finally they brought me to a stop infront of a drawer where two beautiful babies hide. Two sets of TIEMCO Infante(s). One pearl white and one blue. My heart skipped a beat. I chose the pearl white set. This white one has fought countless battles with me and never a moment when I did not feel good about having her. The blue one has not seen the water yet and not even a reel has mated with her.

I took out my Abel Trout Lite and started cleaning the fly line. Loads and loads of memories just came flashing across my mind... those good old days in the water with a fly rod in hand.

Armed with only a few flies (wooly bugger, crazy charlies and a few more surface flies) I took on the water. While my friends were armed with spinning and casting outfits, I stood gingerly by the water and suddenly my mind went blank. My phone rang and the silent was broken. Reception was bad and I was trying to make up the intermittent messages. Finally, the caller hung up and I could set up my equipment.

The ticker from my little fly reel made her presence felt too.

I did not take too long, 2 young peacock basses fell for my wooly bugger. Noticing that the fish flashed just below visible water depth and not hitting my wooly, crazy charlie was next at the end of the line. Two more fallen by my little charlie and a few misses as well. Soon, it was quiet again after a span of about 15mins.

I moved and found a plant sticking of out the water. Just a few casts, another fell for the charlie. Just as I was releasing the fish, I felt a sharp pain in one of my toes. Leeches! Upon raising my left foot, I could still see that the black fat ass was still sinking its teeth into my toe. Without hesitation, my pliers had it in her jaws. I checked the cut it had induced. Blood came flowing out of the cut but thank goodness, it stopped. I took a gamble to remove it hoping that its acid has not found it way into the cut. Phew... just in time. No bloody mess and no troubles for my friends. I left that part of the water quickly and found another swallow bank.

One more fell for the charlie and the irritating mosquitoes started to swarm around me. Not flies. They were mosquitoes and they started feeding on me. It was time to go.

I will be back, another day soon. No signs of the Cichla Temensis for this trip but I am not giving up yet.

My search for rotors for my brakes is very eventful!

My front brake rotors are giving up soon. I needed replacement almost immediately. I called up many workshops but almost all could not give me a correct answer to my request.

"No stock." = Famous quotes by most of them. When I went down, they got!

"No such size rotors liao." = At the shop, they have!

"Must order... take about 4-6wks."

"Upon order request, 8-9wks."

Etc...

No one seems to be able to tell me the truth on the phone but when you are at the workshop, they have what you want! Sigh...

45mins away from Singapore

A day away from the city of Singapore. A 45mins drive from Singapore's 2nd Link led me here to a kinda busy town up north in Malaysia. The open lands and forestations reminded me of my childhood days in Ponggol. The palm trees and rubber trees around me brought back lots of memories. I grew up in kampong and now living in concrete walls made me feel uneasy sometimes. To wake up by the sounds of the forest in the morning is something that today's kids will never get even if they wake up in a camping trip in the forest. The crickets and birds... they made me feel so at ease...

Although it is not very far away from Singapore, I do not really fancy such trips up north unless I am heading to Thailand(which I really love to go back there for holiday again). Basically, in my opinion, staying in anywhere in M'sia is not really safe at all unless you really know where you are going. Otherwise, be extra careful if you do make such trips alone just for a drive to look at open lands.

I never like MSCP and apparently, more and more of such auto thefts are happening in MSCP.

"Install security camera?"
(Wait until we lost our bonnets, brakes, rims, etc... then install?")

"How many MSCPs in Singapore have security cameras? Huh?"

What kind of security do car owners get to 'enjoy' for paying to park in HDB carparks? We paid when due but when thefts happened, they are not responsible. What is this?

Even a tree branch fell onto my car and caused a dent.... they are not responsible at all but I paid for parking leh. How come like that? The trees are planted by.... who?

THEN WHY PAY TO PARK WHEN THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR INCIDENTS LIKE THESE? WE PAID TO PARK WHEN TOLD TO DO SO. WE DID PAY. IF WE DON'T PAY WE ALSO PAY AS SUMMONS.

After a good six months, I realized that I have not fished locally for a long time. This fishing blog of mine is getting seriously mycarblog from some readers' comment. Apparently, I still have readers reading my crapz. Hahahaha....

Yesterday, I took out my 4pcs DAYS spinning rod and left it inside my boot. I have a tackle box with jigs and lures plus other necessary items for fishing, included too.

I realized my Daiwa 2500R Custom is kinda too big for the rod.... I should start looking for something smaller in the market and thus the question is, "What should I get?"

A night ago, I took out my Tiemco JDM fly rods... a blue one and a pearl white one... my heart started beating and missed a beat here and there.... In my mind, I saw kalui... pacu... patin... peacock bass... the list went on... all those good times spent with them on a Abel's reel... I missed those 'runaway days'.

Hi fellows, if you are thinking of demodding/upgrading your brakes, I have a pair of front 4pots Subaru brakes for sales, comes with rotors too.

A pair of front 4pots brake calipers with lots of life less on brake pads. Rotors need to be skimmed and will still have pretty much life too for these stock WRX brakes. (Verified by my trusted workshop)

The front brakes set are at JJ's Decal Hub now. Please only offer after you have viewed them personally at James' place. For ridiculous offers, I will not reply at all.

Although it has 30000km record, brake calipers are in very good condition. Red paint and Subaru wordings are original condition, never re-condition(just washed). Well maintained between washes.

Never tracked.

Sleepin Buddha, biggest?

During my work in Thailand, I went to visit this supposed to be the biggest 'sleepin buddha' in the world.

One word, BIG!

Thailand has so many temples and many of them are actually so beautiful. The craftsmanship is incredible!

I was impressed with this... and further impressed when I went to another historic site... another temple... if someone pays me a million dollars and I would not take out the job too.

Maxxis Victra i-Pro

After about 28,000km and 1yr my Eagle F1s started to fade.

Longer braking distance on the straight but strangely, they still gripped pretty well in corners.

As some of you already know, I started to drive up to Thailand with these F1s. Wear and tear are pretty fine except the noise of them is making my passengers nausea.

My 3rd trip up here in Thailand landed me with nails in them and a torn valve. At least I did not get a puncture along NSHW.

The tire with the torn valve was leaking badly upon reaching Thailand. I am left with no choice but to have them changed.

The common tires used at home are not found in the shop that I was in. Since the owner is a good pal of my guide, I decided to take what is recommended to me, Maxxis Victra i-Pro, 225/40/ZR18.

Immediately I could feel the difference between the two brand of tires which I used. Maxxis's is more comfortable on the highway and braking is very predictable (maybe it is new, 2808). A friend of mine hate to sit in my ride but this time it is very different. "Wow... so comfy this round and so quiet liao!"

To me Victra i-Pro definitely feels better than my older tires on day one. Hopefully these tires are good till they last as well. They are supposed to be best that Maxxis could offer for our kind of rides.

Oh, one day thing. They are even cheaper than the Eagle F1 but just slightly more expensive than Federal 595.

I got this from JJ Decal Hub just about a week ago. Very nice genuine SPT's parts. Next items in mind are battery tie down bar and also the oil filler caps, both SPT's.

With this plate, the water temperature indeed is lower than initially. About 5-10 degrees C different, depending on weather.

I was using my trustworthy Daiwa Certate Custom 2500R and Major Craft Offblow Casting 1.5-3PE. As usual, the small little reel continues to proof its worth till today.

Cats up to 15-20kg are manageable.

In this pond, the smallest fish landed is about 10kg mark and most around 15-20kg. The big meows in the pond are about 30-40kg... (I think I fought one of them as the big meow took line easily from my little power house even though I almost lock the drag DEAD!)

No chance to hold a fish for photo taking as the operator do not encourage such move at all. All fish were caught and released immediately, using a straw to remove the hook. Straw? Yes, a straw! I tried it myself and hey, it really works and it is real fast and good!

The shots are crap but at least I did take some. Heehee... (too busy messing with dough...)

I was in Thailand and now I am back in Thailand again. Despite all the news in regards to politics situation over here, the people here are very peaceful and friendly. Life here is very relaxing and lots of people actually take time to have pots of water outside their houses. The most common flower blooming from the pot of water is lotus. All kind of colors...

Oh... I am getting fat here as well... something that kinda hard to happen in Singapore. Heehee...

I had a little time right now while waiting for a client and decided to blog...

Not too long ago, while I was standing beside my car there was a young guy beside my car as well. Not sure if the senior guy is his dad or not, they were definitely talking about my car in my face.

"Auto?", young guy.

"Hmmm..... when did WRX got auto?", senior guy.

".........", a friend of theirs who looked puzzled.

"It must be a WRX wannabe! Where got auto WRX one? Chey.... A TS lah...", young guy. He was looking at me while saying these when I was getting into my car. He went on, "Put scoop can go faster meh? Hahaha!"

The senior guy gave me a polite nod while the two young guns walked away laughing and gave me that kind of "Yo WRX wannabe... how fast can your TS go?" look....

Later on, I noticed that the senior guy was driving a manual WRX 06/07 with FGK exos. Very nice white ride with black trim. Very nice number too. When they walked past my car later on again... the young guy still gave me that kind of 'silly' look on his face...

Poor chap... made a fool of himself without even knowing...

My07 has auto version and the intercooler is real. The scoop is real. The rear Subaru brakes are factory fitted and real. Automatic WRX, is not a dream......

Although with heavy schedules that JJ Decal Hub was having, James still managed to squeeze out time to finish my ride on a Saturday's evening.

I was thinking of matt black trim on my ride and thus came out with such a silly idea about wide body sticker decal instead.

My less than a year ride suffers lots of dings and dongs all around. Maybe using stickers could spice up the ride a little but not too flamboyant.

James does alot more car decals and seriously his workmanship is pretty impressive. A nice chap with a nice and focused attitude in his decal business.

6.30am, I found myself standing in Lower Pierce Resvr's carpark. At this time of the day, when the sky was still dark there were already so many cars here.

With my tackle in hands, I gingerly walked towards the water to wet my line. Along the way, lots of senior citizens are getting ready to do their morning workout. I am impressed!

I stood underneath a lamp post and started fixing up my rod and reel. Joggers went past me with friendly smiles. I dug into my new sling bag and found the old and trustworthy Yozuri Mag Minnow. I found myself beside the water moments later...

I read the water and positioned myself. Less than 10 casts, I had a hooked up. The peacock bass took air and the line went limp. I was encouraged. Owning the water all to myself, I felt so carefree and time seemed to slow down too.

I cast again at the same place where I missed that flying fish and immediately at the strike zone, I saw the peacock bass chasing my little lure. I wasn't sure if that was the same fish but this little one just gave chase.

I switched to twitching immediately upon seeing such and immediately a hookup at strike zone again! This time, I landed it and shot it with my trusty Sony T3. I caught a second one at the same strike zone too! Shot and released.

Time seemed to stop for a while but the insects and birds continued to wake up the forest behind me. Suddenly, I saw two little swirls in the water not too far away from me. Stepping on slippery rocks, I moved myself carefully and slowly towards the swirls. The rocks were loose and they cracked when I set foot on them... The cracks were so loud and crisp in the morning. The sun was slowing rising behind me... I felt so tranquil and so at ease...

The little Mag Minnow wasn't attractive at all. I saw two peacock basses chasing it but later they stopped. They started going after my line that was just above the water. "Popper!", I thought.

I got no poppers!

I decided to switch to a even lighter lure - Rapala Husky Jerk. Swimming the lure near the surface, the two young fellows fell for it. Shot and released as well.

Now, I am thinking when could I fish again...

This place is pretty big and really very cozy.

Probably the best tackleshop in the whole of Thailand... (Singapore is a heaven for fishing fanatics to purchase tackles at really low prices when compared to our neighbours and even all to way to USA and Europe.)

First keep in mind: Boyfriend 5.0 is an
entertainment package, while Husband 1.0 is an
operating system. Try entering the command
C:\ I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME and download
Tears 6.2 to install Guilt 3.0 .

If all works as designed, Husband 1.0 should
then automatically run the applications Jewellery
2.0 and Flowers 3.5.

But remember, over use can cause Husband
1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour
7.0 or Late Night Teh Tarik 6.1. Late Night 6.1 is a
very bad program that will create
SnoringLoudly.wav files.

Whatever you do, DO NOT install Mother-in-

It has been a while since I fished and this blog of mine is not getting fishy at all. My friends are all going up and down the causeway while I am here in Singapore only get to listen to what were my friends' trophies out there with what reels and what line.... sighz.... I wish I could be out there too for a holiday.

Maybe a trip to Thailand, or even better... a trip to Australia like Melbourne or Gold Coast...

I wish I could have more time but somehow or rather... time is never enough when I am trying to find my pot of gold.

In business... it is like a gamble. Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose...

"Identify the problem and solve it!"

It is simple to say than to get it done but sometimes... we just need to.... JUST DO IT!!!

I have to act fast, even faster... otherwise the company may need to draw blood from blood bank. Blood is not cheap!

Sometimes..... when you are in such a sticky situation.... you may think that it is coming to an end..... suddenly, at the end of the tunnel you see a glimpse of light... and seriously... light is there.

Finally, the beer garden at Bottle Tree Park has started it operation on last Friday. This add-on to the park is greatly welcomed by my customers at the prawn pond as it is situated right beside the pond.

It operates daily. Sun - Thurs, 5pm - 12am. Fri & Sat, 5pm - 2am.

Many people have asked me how do I achieve such FC on my ride. Basically, it is the way u drive I guess.

I have never finished a tank of fuel with stock rims and tires and thus I couldn't comment about the stock JDM rims that come with the automatic JDM WRX.

Since day one, I swapped my stock rims already. I am on 18", Rays United Arrows S05. (Very light rims.)

I added Varis to touch up my car with CF trim, just the window A pillars and an exhaust cutter. Such trims have no extra performance hor. Heehee.

Next, I swapped my stock muffle to HKS Legamax. Finally, the boxer is alive!!! The boxer note is loud now but it is still pretty nice and quiet in the cabin of the car since it is only a muffler swap and has NO CAT BACK with through pipe.

Next, I changed my springs. I used Tein H Tech for comfort reasons. I find that the car does not nose down that much anymore compared to stock springs. The braking feel is better now as the nose down problem with stock springs is over.

I have good friends who give me good recommendation in performance and looks. If you are a new owners, please find such friends and you will learn more from them. I am learning joyously. Listen to the them and go try it out yourself.

Currently, I always hit 380km - 400km constantly on about 45-46l of Esso 5000. The best FC ever achieved is 408km and the low fuel warning light has not even lighted up. I top up at the station just in case the light is faulty. I pumped 45l only!!! Of course I cant use this single data for analysis about this car's FC. My experience tells me that as long as I keep my foot light, I could easily achieve 8-8.5km/l from Esso 5000.

The worst FC ever, 300km/l is what I have done. I was hitting 4500-5500rpm most of the time on the road with that tank of fuel. I was having fun on the road doing soft launch. I am not racing hor. 70kph road, I revved to hit 70kph. That's all. Auto WRX is a fun ride to have if you have become a lazy person like me as I hate jams in Singapore. To clutch in and out in traffic jams is always a horrible experience when you could only travel like 30-40kph on the highway like CTE.

How do I achieve 8-8.5km/l?

I do not step hard on the gas to 'chiong chiong chiong' from stationary. I keep my rpm at about 2000-2500 when moving off. When the car has picked up speed, I will keep the rpm below 3000. Basically, this is not a hard thing to do if you are not in a hurry always.

FC is very subjective to the style of driving and even your engine. I guess I am very blessed to have an engine that runs well and gives me excellent FC even when it is a boxer.

Meanwhile, I am still on mineral oil for my engine. I will be doing my 2nd servicing soon and trust me, I am not doing it at MI this time. I am going for synthetic oil and I will do my servicing at BMS. I trust BMS like most scoobies do locally. I am not advertising for them hor... my experience with BMS is excellent. Ever since I swapped my muffler, my warranty with MI is over and I know that. I guess it is hard to drive a boxer engine with hearing it, indeed true!

Stranger encounter with Picanto

In the whee..... hours (2.30am) today, I had a strange encounter with a KIA Picanto. I was travelling along PIE (Jurong) and exiting to CTE (AMK), I overtook a Picanto along the exit towards CTE when we were in the merging lanes. There were many cars along the exit to CTE and it actually took awhile to get to CTE.

When I was on CTE, I noticed that Picanto that I overtook was on my tail. So close till I couldn't even see the headlights. To avoid collision, I stepped on the gas but the Picanto stayed so close. He was pushing me..... Just to ensure that I wasn't in a dream, I checked six and the car was still there. So damn bloody close...

A KIA Picanto was pushing my ride... I wonder...

It took me very long to update any pics from the sailfish competition in Kuala Rompin due to several reasons. I am very disheartened by someone whom we used to call friend as he has been putting words in friends' mouths and even used their names willfully with ill intention against a good friend of mine.

Sad but true................

Apparently, my name is also used by him in the above link. I have not spoken to him in a long time and have not spoken to him at all for the past few months. He made up so many stories trying to make believe others but lies are lies... Chinese has a saying, "Paper cannot cover fire..."

I have no idea what happened to him and what is his intention for doing such things. Singaporeans were deemed fighting themselves and showing off their battle in the M'sia forum. This guy has brought shame to Singaporeans as his actions are so childish.

When I was registering at the competition, someone from his team came talking bad about my dear friend. It is only a competition but somehow it seems like a battle between heaven and earth while my dear friend was simply ignoring them and their ill actions against him.

WHAT'S THE POINT?

We as Singaporeans, we should all stand together and show the world what we are made of. Instead of backstabbing each other in a foreign land. Even if we are from different teams, we should be cheering for Singapore as we are from the same country. Patriotism? It is hardly seen... signz...

Although things were seem so bad during the competition, there were still LIGHT among the darkness. Two different teams from Singapore were seen shaking hands and smiling at each other and even cheering for each other during the competition even though when there were team mates who hated the other team. This spirit is very encouraging. I was very disheartened during the competition as there were so much politics going around among the same countrymen but when I saw the other team's members smiling at me and said 'Good Luck!" to us, I was greatly encouraged by the incident.

I really want to thank all those 'angels' from the other teams and even the m'sians are showing great sportsmanship towards Singaporeans. Apparently, one of TWU Team's boat had a malfunction and they were apparently very far out where phones were useless toys out there to call for SOS. A team from M'sia apparently saved them from drifting far out into South China Sea. This is what sportsmanship is for. Even if we are competing against each other, we should be encouraging each other to work hard and fight a good battle. At the end of the day, we will all know that we fought a good fight and let the friendship move on further over a few beers and cheers for the winners.

Let's not sow evil to reap evil against anyone. We should all do good to each other especially when we are all representing our country in a foreign land. Let rest the evil as the light will arrest them sooner or later as darkness prevails not against the TRUTH.

Oh, it isn't seasickness that got me but it is the Z monster... I was lucky that my legs were not bitten off by any sharks out there as there was one sailfish got its head bitten off during battle when I was hanging my legs out of the boat enjoying the sun. Kekeke

Just a few days ago, a group of Navy personnel suddenly appeared in the park doing 'treasure hunt'. It was mid afternoon and suddenly I noticed that a lot of cars suddenly were speeding into the park and people were gathering around. Many were holding some A4 size envelopes walking around with pens and paper as well. They seemed to be in a hurry and drove their cars pretty fast around.

Out of curiosity, I verified with BTP's manager in regards to the sudden commotions in the park. Apparently, these people never inform the management that they were utilizing the park for their 'treasure hunt'.

These servicemen were really 'fast and furious'. They proceeded to the family shelter and started unpacking stacked up chairs and tables for their usage. Notebook was plugged into the power point for power and fans were turned on to cool the immerse afternoon heat.

Upon questioning, the IC replied, "I didn't know that this is a private park at all."

Ok, he said that he did not know that Bottle Tree Park is a private park. This is absolutely fine.

In order to join the RSN, personnel must at least have some brains and common sense with a cert, right?

WHERE GOT PUBLIC PARKS IN SINGAPORE GOT CHAIRS, TABLES, POWER POINTS, FANS AND SHELTER FOR FREE USAGE?!?!!!???!!!

If you have brains, you would be wondering how come there are such equipment around beside a restaurant? These people from RSN have no courtesy to even ask. Is it that difficult to ask? Luckily these IDIOTS did not go to the counter and take what they want from the store without paying... Oh come on... where got free lunches in Singapore? So many departments from MINDEF have held events at the park before. Each organizer had come to find out about the park before they came to use the facilities installed.

Singapore is such a small little country in this world but it is not hard to find our fellow country men all around the globe.

There are so many singaporeans all around the world. In USA, M'sia, France, UK etc...

I have friends who had stayed in different parts of the world and one of the common reason that why they chose to come back to Singapore is simply because fellow country men do not look after their own fellow country men. Isn't this sad?

The strife among singaporeans overseas are very common. Each tries to outwit each other to climb higher at the expense of their friendship. Most of them are always on their own and very selfish as well. Although not all singaporeans are like that but such incidents are happening everyday around the world.

Even in inter-national events, singaporeans fought each other in the public and made a fool of themselves in the papers. Two sportsmen punched each other up in neighboring countries....

Whereas when we're back in our homeland, such things ain't so extreme though. Why?

Why? How many people here actually know your neighbour's name? Their jobs? Most of us are all closed-door-singaporeans.

Whenever I am outstation for any reasons, I always see singaporeans fighting singaporeans. Why aren't we looking after each other in foreign lands instead? Our neighbors actually demonstrate better espirit de corp among them. They are out there to shine for their country and no matter what teams they are in, it doesn't make a difference as they are all from the same flag. Singaporeans? A very different story...

Do we carry our flag in other countries and killing our own fellow people to shine oneself? A sad but true story for us...

"Sir, indeed you could purchase alot of prawns at NTUC but those prawns are all dead. It is not about the prawns but it is about having fun catching them and spending quality time with friends or family."
"I can buy prawns and cook them then spend good time with my family as well. Right?"
"Yes, you could. I am not stopping you from buying prawns from NTUC and I am not asking you to try prawn fishing as well. You have the liberty to choose what you want to do with your $14.50 and so the same for the rest of my customers as well."
"So stupid....."

Later on, he went on to talk to some of my customers... guess what... he got a good piece from them... hahaha

When we run a business, definitely, we will face all kinds of problems with all kinds of customers. Dealing with hard-to-handle customers, we always have to put on a smile no matter what and do our best to resolve the situation. At the end of the day, running a business is about making money and not about creating enemies from customers.

There is a group of people which is hard to handle as well and they are NOT even customers. I call them the "Know-everything-&-anyhow".

These people would never contribute to the business. They will never buy anything from retail shops. They will never take out their wallet if their intention is to walk-walk-see-see only.

I have met many such cases at my business premises.

Know-everything-&-anyhow family day at the park.

Know-everything-&-anyhow grandma, "Fish prawn so expensive, market cheaper. Market prawn more fresh lah. Why these people waste money? So stupid! Market prawns more fresh lah."

How is it possible for a dead prawn to be fresher than a lively prawn?

Know-everything-&-anyhow uncle, "Aiyo, all these people so stupid. The operator feeds the prawn full full so that they catch nothing. So stupid. Waste money only. Go market buy better lah. Prawn fresher somemore."

If this uncle ever starts a prawn fishing business using such tactics, he would soon find his name in the history book. HISTORY!

Know-everything-&-anyhow wife, "Is it? They feed the prawns? Yalor... these people so stupid. Waste money. Prawns in market fresher lah."

The grandma's comment has a 'parroting' effect on the family. Dead prawns in market are fresher than live prawns.

Know-everything-&-anyhow family, "Stupid people. Waste money. Prawns in market are fresher lah. Hahahaha."

The above is not fiction nor just-for-laugh.

It happened yesterday at my place. This Know-everything-&-anyhow family was standing like only 3m away from the counter. Their Know-everything-&-anyhow comments started flying here and there. It was really irritating. As they were know-everything-&-anyhow commenting, their voices got louder.

Just then, a customer had just ended his session and packing his prawns at the packing station. He had a bag full of prawns. Know-everything-&-anyhow family looked at it and then said, "Market prawns look better and fresher. Hahahahaha. Waste money." The customer stared at them but they seemed so happy and started to get carried away.

"Hello. We don't feed our prawns here. We are doing a business here. We DON'T feed our prawns at all. We are doing a business here."

I had no choice but to 'interrupt' their behavior. Upon hearing from me, they 'lowered' their voices but I could still hear them from 5m clearly. (I was eating dinner on another table.) This time, I repeated firmly to them and finally, they kept their know-everything-&-anyhow mouths shut. They kept turning their heads back to look at me. I smiled back. Even as they were walking away, they kept turning back to see if I was still looking at them. Indeed, I kept my pair of eyes on them.

Apparently, this Know-everything-&-anyhow family was merely visiting the park for the first time. They did not have dinner at the park nor did they patronize any of the services in the park as well. They are not customers and then they know-everything-&-anyhow comment about the services...

My hermit crabs are GONE!!!

Today, when I reached the park in the afternoon, I noticed that something was amiss. I found my dear hermit crabs missing from the tank with the lip of the cover opened. I asked around, no one noticed anything except my part timer saw 3 kids were crowding round the crabs earlier on.

Argh.... my crabs are STOLEN!!!

By who? The thief or thieves got away.....

I just hope that the thief would really know how to take good care of them and if you the thief happens to be reading my blog, just wanna let you know, YOU SUCK! Oh well, please take good care of them though. One more thing, these 3 little fellows love rambutan. YES! RAMBUTAN!!!

First look at the painted shells... fantastic marketing strategy!

When I looked closer... alot of chipped paint are found on the hermit crab's body. THIS IS NOT GOOD.

Seriously, alot of pple are asking me in regards to these hermit crabs. I would tell them that I am no expect. They should go ask those who are selling it instead. They should know more and the ones that I have, are my pets and I treat them the way I see fit to keep them alive and happy.

Thus, I say no to painted shells but it doesnt mean that you have to follow my advice.

Maybe those who are really interested in hermit crabs, pls read The Crab Street Journal.

Hello people,

Thank you for the great response in regards to the cutie pinkie bluey lobsters. They are all sold out.

I took two home today. One of them has a few legs missing and the other, left over as it is less perfect - one big one small claw.

My tank is becoming a nursery. I have two almost perfect ones. Two less perfect and two that have legs missing. 6 of them, all inside my 1' by 1/2' FIVEPLAN Tank and a GEX Bio-filter.

As many have asked me what am I feeding them with, basically I feed them with frozen red worms and also the food that is for sales at my counter meant for lobsters (Japan product). All of them are eating the food that I give them happily.

For those who experienced 'fasting'. I suggest that you all please get them a proper home like mine. As these pinkie bluey lobsters are hybrid. They are very hard to come by. When these little fellows are in a 'good' home, I believe they will feed readily.

If you are willing to bring them home and so, please take good care of them. If you are experiencing extreme difficulty with them, please contact me and I will do my best to help out. Please be a responsible 'parent'. Otherwise, I suggest that you return the lobsters back to me and I will take good care of them. When back in good health, I will find responsible owners for them once more.

Meanwhile, I have no remaining stocks due to the overwhelming demand. I could still take order online and would delivery them asap upon new batch of these cuties.

Careful of mud holes along the side of the road (Lor Chencharu)

Today, a little mishap occurred along Lor Chencharu. A huge truck got stuck in the mud by the side of the road. The aft wheels sank almost half a ft deep into the mud. Currently, recuse operation is in progress and hopefully the truck could be rescued soon. For visitors to the park, do keep an eye open for mud holes along the side of the road when driving along Lor Chencharu. I believe the contractors will filled up the holes but it is smart to play safe.

Oh, too bad that the truck's license number is not 4 digits. Hahahaha

After so many years of utilizing taxi services... I have finally gotten myself a car to drive on the road. As a public transport user in the past, I have come across many close encounters with other vehicles on the road. Most of the time, the faults lie on the taxi drivers.

Now, I am driving daily on the road and my experience with taxi drivers has always made me to keep both my eyes open for them while I am on the road. I always try to keep away from them but as you know, the taxis on the road in Singapore are like ants!

You could simply not avoid them at all..... sad but true.

On the 30th April 07, I was involved in a collision. A BMW 7 series collided into my humble Lancer's butt. The driver involved is at fault but all these happened because of a mutherfLicker taxi driver.

I was turning left into Ang Mo Kio Ave 3 from Upp Serangoon Ave 1. The left turn has two lanes. I was on the left and the mutherfLicker was on the right. When the traffic was clear, like normal, we began to move off into Ang Mo Kio Ave 3. The mutherfLicker turned into me! I e-braked immediately and at the same time, I sounded the horn. I had no choice but to stop and just then, someone from behind collided into my car's butt. All thanks to the mutherfLicker!

The idiot almost stopped infront of me but upon realizing what he had caused, he sped away immediately. He had a passenger in his backseat and I hoped the passenger is still alived.

His CB license plate number is SHB1249(?).

I just went to doc today for a simple checkup. I was experiencing pain on my upper back and neck. The doc told me that I might have a whiplash from the accident. So, he started to examine my back.

"Pain? Pain? Pain?....."

"No... no.... no.... ARGH!!!"

"Oh, ok. You are hurt here. Do try to rest more these few days. Ok?"

"Ok....."

I have written in to the TP and waiting for a positive response from them. Hopefully, this mutherfLicker will get what he deserves! CB!

Woke up almost at noon today. Body was still tired but phone calls non-stop. SMSs to reply. My butt was still hurting from the 2hours of gaming last night. They ought to do something about those chairs in the LAN shop...

Still very stoned... I walked to the washroom to wash up. First thing in mind was to shave. My right hand reached out for my shaver. Next moment, I noticed that the dental floss container was in my hands and my hands were pulling out the dental floss!

My brains were like, "WTF!???!!! I told u to take the shaver and you're flossing instead!"

My hands, "Errr..... sure?"

My brains, "......................"

After I had shaved, I picked up the toothbrush. In my mind, "Oh ya... no mistake this time. I did not take the wrong thing this time round."

Next moment.... my hands were trying to squeeze facial wash onto the toothbrush!!! The toothpaste and facial wash were actually at different spots but wth!!!!

Thank God that I did not 'floss' my facial hair and thank God that I did not facial wash my teeth... thank you thank you...

At Bottle Tree Park.....

After hours sitting at the counter, I needed to take a leak and so I went off to the washrooms.

Upon entering the toilet, I heard two ladies chattering away behind me from not far away. I was standing at the urinal and relieving myself...

Suddenly, this woman entered the toilet as I heard this woman talking to another behind me. Two women were in the Gents and I was standing at the urinal...

"Shit, did I enter the wrong toilet? WTH, I am relieving myself standing up at the urinal. How is it possible!!!???"

I was only mid way through when the above happened.

Just as I was leaving the Gents, one of the cubicles door swung opened.

I reached home early this morning. Yes, I said early this morning. I found no 'good' lots and thus in the end, I have to park under the rain trees...

As I left for work this afternoon... more than 10 times my car was bombarded.... damn sad... I just washed my car the day before and straightaway... bird shit liao liao...

The best thing... the shit are all red in color. From far, they looked like tomato sauce...

I really believe that birds do choose where to 'unload' their 'ammos'. Apparently, my car is decimated....

Ever since I started driving... I have always being my best to be safe on the road. Not for myself but for the drivers around me as well while I am on the road. No one is perfect but at least I am trying my best to keep everyone alive on the road.

I guess everyone knows who use the road most in Singapore. TAXIS!!!

They never failed to annoy me daily on the road. I tried to keep away from them but somehow... sometimes I felt as if these taxis on the road are haunting me daily on the road.

Why am I whining here is all becoz just now... my ABS got activated again. All thanks to a taxi who switched lane without checking his blind spot while I was on the CTE going to PIE.

ABS got activated twice for the past few months... all thanks to the reckless taxi drivers on the road...

"Could you all get a life else where if you cannot drive safely on the road?"

What actually happened just now was... the taxi signaled right and then immediately he switched. The aft of the vehicle almost hit my ride and I had to break so hard that the ABS got activated. What made the situation worse was that after he switched he did not step on the gas and thus apparently he was slowing down!!! Thank God that I was alert enough to avoid a collision with this mutherfucker! I could see my ride almost kissing his ass but somehow we avoided the collision. I hit the horn hard and long during the sequence of events. He noticed that he was wrong and he quickly switched back to his previous lane and acted as if nothing happened. Apparently, he ran away by exiting the CTE immediately.

I wind down my window and shouted at him but he just couldn't turn his head to look at me. IDIOTS! I almost wanted to follow him and take down his license plate numbers and report to the traffic police of his reckless driving. Then I saw these two ladies in the taxi with frozen expression... I stepped on the gas and moved on...

I prayed that they could return home safely.......

Wind, wind and more wind....

Just got back from K.Rompin on Sunday. My first trip up north for this year ended up... very windy.

It was a 3 days fishing trip. For the first day, just after we left the river out into the sea, the boatman decided to turn back for good as the swell was too much for the vessel and the weather was not looking really good. We turned back for safety sake.

Second day, strong wind and 2-3m swells as usual... but we did get to different spots but yielded no results. No sighting of sailfish or mackies at all...

Third day, the sun welcomed us in the morning. Light breeze brushed our faces... our hopes were re-ignited but in the end... the rain hit us. The swells came... the wind picked up...

I managed only a fish on jig and missed a mackie twice on the same jig... saw a sailfish (might be a marlin due to the brown shine) but nothing... A mackie severed a rig with balloon and the rest of the day was uneventful.

It was kinda discouraging especially it is my first trip but somehow, I am now looking forward to my next trip up north. Hopefully soon.....

Hiaz... I waited and waited and finally... the reel didnt turn up today in Singapore...

I bought a new rod just for it and hoping that I could use it for this weekend...

Now... should I get the Daiwa Certate 3500HD instead... or should I just wait... or should I just stay back in Singapore and continue working and not think about it...?

I think I better go and sleep.... I kept seeing MRT passing by the pond in my brains..... I am going nuts!
